通常の編み機ではボーダーを5cm程度のピッチ(間隔)でしか編むことができません。ところが、この『転換ボーダー』には特別な編み機を使用しているため、それ以上の広いピッチのボーダーを作ることができます。狭いピッチから広いピッチ、太さや感覚の異なる複雑なボーダー柄を作ることができるのです。プリントのボーダーであれば可能ですが、安っぽくなってしまい自然な雰囲気には仕上がりません。編むからこそできる味わい深いボーダー柄。それにより着こなしにさり気ないこだわりと魅力を加えてくれるのです。
